Version 2 carries the server from below instead of by side friction. Each arm ends in an L-shaped lift plate that swings 180° about the arm's vertical post: out of the way while the lifter is lowered, then under the chassis edge. With both plates under, the server sits on two 12 mm steel plates. No clamp force, torque limiter or force indicators are needed; the four straps stay as a backup.
Plate mechanism
The handwheel still drives both arms together on the right/left-hand screw, but only to bring the PU bumpers against the chassis. Each plate then swings on its own about its post, on a Ø35 shaft in two bronze bushes, and a spring plunger locks it under the server or swung out.

Hand-lift assumption. Each chassis edge is lifted about 25 mm by hand to swing a plate under. This needs a lifting aid or a team lift before use.
Compare with Version 1 (side clamp, Rev C.4).
